Diablo 4 Blacksmith: Unlocking & Functions

Diablo 4 Blacksmith

Diablo 4's Blacksmith not only repairs your equipment but also allows you to extract valuable crafting materials from useless stuff. This guide explains how to unlock the Diablo 4 Blacksmith at launch and during Open Beta.

How To Unlock Diablo 4 Blacksmith (Zivek)

In Diablo 4, gaining access to the Blacksmith is a relatively simple process that is difficult to overlook. You'll receive a quest asking you to visit Zivek the Blacksmith in Kyovashad after your character achieves level 10. The next job is to upgrade an item. Players will earn XP and the opportunity to access the Diablo 4 Blacksmith as a reward for finishing this quest.

Once the first Blacksmith in Diablo 4 has been unlocked, you can find other blacksmiths in different towns, settlements, and even after Strongholds have been destroyed. It's crucial to remember that in Diablo 4, you don't always need to use Zivek in Kyovashad to do one of the Blacksmith's tasks.

Diablo 4 Blacksmith Functions

In Diablo 4, upgrading or crafting new things is arguably the Blacksmith's most important job. All Diablo 4 item rarities, including Uniques, can be upgraded by players, making the Blacksmith's roles in the game of unmatched significance.

In Diablo 4, players lose 10% of their item durability upon death. Zivek will save the day as the NPC has a repair item function and will ask for some Gold to do the task. The Blacksmith NPC's ability to recycle undesirable items into crafting and upgrade materials is another ability.

You now have a step-by-step tutorial to using the Diablo 4 Blacksmith, covering everything from obtaining access to this crucial NPC to the tasks players will be able to carry out once they do.
