Diablo 4 Open Beta Test Set for March 24 to 26

Diablo 4 Open Beta

Rumors of a Diablo 4 beta release date have been around for some time, and we've learned the details.

Blizzard Entertainment announced the Open Beta for "Diablo IV" and the game's opening cinematic on 19 Feb. Early access to the Open Beta test will be held from March 17 to 19. After Early Access weekends, March 24-26, the Open Beta will be available to all players.

In addition to the official Open Beta code, players who have pre-purchased Diablo IV will be available to experience the Beta test directly. Players who do not have a pre-order or code must wait until the 24th to the 26th.

The closed beta will focus on content including Nightmare Dungeons, Whispers of the Dead, Fields of Hatred, Paragon Boards, and the game's newest feature, Helltide.

Players will be able to experience the early game of Diablo IV during the Beta test and Early Access weekends. This includes the game's Prologue and all of Act 1. Players can also level up to Level 25 and explore the first zone of Fractured Peaks, climb mountains and slay demons.

Officials said this would be the only Open Beta before the June 6 release. The official has yet to disclose whether it can be carried over to the official version. Still, according to Blizzard's past practice, it should be a deleted Beta test. The official development team, live in early March, will also disclose more details about the Open Beta.

You can access the Diablo IV beta on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
