Diablo 4 Beta Top 10 Tips & Tricks

diablo 4

Although Diablo 4's Early Access beta is now closing, there is another chance to try out the full Open Beta this weekend with a Battle.net account. Although I enjoyed the Early Access beta, the Open Beta offers a lot to look forward to. Check out our top ten tips and tricks to prepare for another weekend of looting and demon-slaying.

The first tip is to prioritize Altars of Lilith, which have massive stat bonuses and two permanent stats of different stats, depending on which altar you choose. They apply to all your characters, whether you're softcore or hardcore.

Second tip, similar to your altars of Lilith, many things in the game are account-bound. This means that if you find some item you want to use, you can put it in your stash, swap it for you with a character, and use that item.

The third tip is to craft Elixirs in the second tab of the Alchemist. Now you will find a lot of Elixirs. It doesn't matter which one you pick up. You can't pick up the iron barb elixir. That would be the best. But all of these Elixirs will increase your XP gain by 5%. This is one of the only ways you can use your materials, your herbs. This will give you an XP boost. If this is important to you, you'll reach level 25 5% faster.

The fourth tip is to buy keys from gamblers or the Purveyor of Curiosities. If you find a silent chest, you will want to have at least one of these keys in your inventory. They have little chains on them. When you open them, you will get loot at a similar rate to what you would gamble on anything. You'll get a legendary about a third of the time. That's only sometimes, but it's a better rate.

The fifth tip is the leave dungeon emote. If you open your emote wheel on your PC, it will be "E." You click on leave the dungeon, and you're just going to leave the dungeon right outside the front. Instead of opening the map and teleporting back to the front, this is an easier way to teleport right outside the dungeon.

Now, the next tip is to upgrade your gear. Many people should have realized that they don't just upgrade their weapons. You can upgrade your armor pieces and jewelry, but you have to go to the jeweler over here to upgrade your jewelry. You will get a lot of bonuses, especially for your jewelry. Do not underestimate how powerful something like maximum life thorns is, but upgrade your weapons and armor because it will give you a lot of value.

The seventh tip is to take on every single Quest you see. Are you going to do any or all of the Quests? Pick them all up as you see them, because what ends up happening is if you pick up a Quest. Sometimes, if you're in the open world, you can double it, or if you're going to do a dungeon, you're going to double it to finish both the dungeon and the Quest. And you'll end up with many finished Quests just by picking up Quests throughout the open world.

The next tip is to see the World Bosses when they do spawn. These things can drop three to seven legendary items when you finish them. They are quite tough fights, and often you need a coordinated group or just enough people to succeed. But if you're in the game, you'll notice that when you open your map, the Boss, at least the Ashava Boss, will spawn in the bottom right-hand corner. And more importantly, the game will give you a notification telling you to go to that area 30 minutes before the Boss spawns. So keep an eye out for that.

And the last two tips for you are combo tips, extracting Aspects, and using the best gear. So when you're going through the game, you'll find that you get a lot of luxury items. I have them in my stash. Why is that? Because rare items are often better, you can extract these luxury items' aspects if you wish. You can apply those legendary aspects to whatever item you want.

So if you have a legendary aspect that works with your build, don't be afraid to go ahead and extract that legendary and apply it to a rare item that will turn it into a luxury item because the rare items can roll better than your legendary items often.
