d4 regions unlocked

Fans of the legendary action RPG series can try the long-awaited fourth sequel during the two Open Beta weekends. Sanctuary is back, and players can experience the entire Fractured Peaks region once again, slaying Lilith's followers for 69 hours a weekend, and leveling up.

With the new Passives and Skills system, players will probably make some mistakes and wrong choices. Luckily, if you ever make a mistake or feel that you can optimize your build better, here's everything you need to know about how you can respec your character in Diablo 4, the gold cost involved, and if there are options to reset individual skills or nodes.

How to Respec Skills & Ranks in Diablo 4

To perform this process, all you need to do is open up your skill tree menu, scroll all the way to the bottom, at the bottom of the Diablo 4 Skill Tree, you can click "Refund All" to reset all your skill points and ranks. This button not only refunds all of the points spent to activate individual skills on the tree, but also skill ranks, upgrades, and passive bonuses. You can get the point refund in any section of the Diablo 4 Skill Tree. Just make sure you don't break any dependencies when you reset the point. If you want to reset a Skill that has unlocked another one at the end of a branch, you must reset the whole branch.

How Much Does It Cost to Respec

Respeccing in Diablo 4 isn't free. It will cost you some Diablo 4 gold. From the Diablo 4 Open Beta information gathered thus far, it is free until Level 7. From here, it starts at only 1 Gold at Level 7. Once you hit higher levels, respec costs will skyrocket. But by the time you reach Level 25, the cost is already 222 Gold to reset a Rank or Skill.

At the time of writing, it's unclear how much it would cost to reset all your Skill Points. We will update this article once more information on resetting Ranks and Skill Tree Points becomes available.
